Artificial Intelligence Group at TU Dortmund
The Harmeling Lab deals with various aspects of artificial intelligence (AI). In particular, we are interested in (i) machine learning and deep learning, (ii) reinforcement learning, (iii) causality, and (iv) applications. We offer lectures and seminars on all these topics, which enable students to learn solid basics and the latest developments in AI. Our research is both method- and application-oriented, i.e., we conduct original research that develops new methods and also applies established approaches to real-world problems, especially from scientific and medical fields.
